* “Met-in-HD” Presentations in Taos
The Guild has been a major force in attendance at the MET Live in HD Series at the Taos Community Auditorium (TCA). Before each event, the Guild encourages all attending the opera to meet at Doc Martin's Restaurant at the Historic Taos Inn for "Briefings and Breakfast." After a wonderful breakfast, a member of the Taos Opera Guild provides a 10 minute synopsis of the opera to be seen that morning. The briefings are quite entertaining with props and annotated remarks. The group has only a short walk to the TCA to enjoy the MET Live performances. The Guild members giving talks have been Suzanne Brock, Bob Parker, Gunther Nachtraub, Suzanne Marier, Kathy Fortner (in rear of photo at left after her presentation), Andy Johnson, Hank Daniel, and Nancy Schultz. We truly thank our opera guild members for their research and enthusiasm in making their presentations so enjoyable.

* Attend performances at the Opera
Each summer season, the Guild attends performances, generally having a tailgate dinner or picnic before the show.
