The Santa Fe Chapter is part of the Guild of the Santa Fe Opera, Inc., whose mission is to enrich lives through the arts. Our dedicated community of volunteers actively supports the Santa Fe Opera by fostering an understanding and appreciation of opera among a diverse public.
The Santa Fe Chapter brings together people several times each year who share a love of music, learning, and community. The Chapter serves as a local connection point for those who wish to deepen their relationship with the Santa Fe Opera and connect with others who share an interest in opera while enjoying meaningful cultural experiences throughout the year.
Our gatherings are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and accessible to both longtime opera lovers and those who are newly discovering the art form. Through educational programs, social events, volunteer opportunities, and creative collaborations, we help foster appreciation for opera and support the Santa Fe Opera’s broader community engagement efforts.

Membership in the Guild of the Santa Fe Opera, Inc.
Memberships are available to first-time and renewing members in one of the five New Mexico chapters located in Albuquerque, Española Valley, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Taos. Our Member-at-Large category is designed for those who do not live full time in any of the areas served by the existing guilds, but who may visit New Mexico from time to time, live here part time, attend performances during the summer, and wish to keep in touch with the Opera’s year-round activities.
