Our Annual Winter Posole Party
The 2019 event was held at Moving Arts in Espanola in February. Annual Apprentice Event

August 5, 2019, EVOG will hosted its annual Tailgate Potluck extravaganza before the performance of La bohème.

Annual Youth Night
Each year EVOG members welcome local youths to a dress rehearsal at the Santa Fe Opera. In 2010 we enjoyed the dress rehearsal of The Pearl Fishers. Before the opera EVOG members treated our guests to a dessert reception on Twomey Terrace where everyone enjoyed sparkling cider, homemade cookies and ice cream. Youth groups in attendance were students from the Camino de Paz school, Moving Arts Espanola, students from Northern New Mexico Regional Art Center, Del Norte Boys and Girls Club, Santa Cruz Boys and Girls Club, Valley View Methodist Church youth group, and Espanola Girl Scouts.YOuth Night 2019Youth Night 2019Youth Night 2019

Our Annual Summer Program: Opera, Wine and Cheese
The Española Valley Opera Guild partners with Black Mesa Winery to present "Opera, Wine and Cheese" at the Misión on the Plaza. Santa Fe Opera apprentice singers Megan Marino, mezzo, and Aaron Short, tenor, perform at the Misión on the Española Plaza.

Annual Youth Essay Contest
Española Valley Opera Guild hosted the winners of their 2015 youth essay contest at the Santa Fe Opera. The students wrote essays entitled "Why I would like to attend the Santa Fe Opera" and ten winners were chosen. The winners and their families were given tickets to see "Daughter of the Regiment" and were treated to a dessert tailgate reception beforehand.
